TV in the bedroom halves your sex life
TV in the bedroom halves your sex life - study - Yahoo! News
A study by an Italian sexologist has found that couples who have a TV set in their bedroom have sex half as often as those who don't.
"If there's no television in the bedroom, the frequency (of sexual intercourse) doubles," said Serenella Salomoni whose team of psychologists questioned 523 Italian couples to see what effect television had on their sex lives.
On average, Italians who live without TV in the bedroom have sex twice a week, or eight times a month. This drops to an average of four times a month for those with a TV, the study found.
Ahhhh, listen to the sound of TV's flying out the window. Hmmm...If a TV in the bedroom has this effect, I wonder what would happen if I got rid of the TV entirely?

Jumper grins wickedly at the news.
Well, I finally decided to respond to comments. what can I say, I'm cronicly lazy.
Anyway, nice to see you back Jumper. For those with chronically short memories, (what can I say chronic seems to be the word of the day) Jumper is the one who came up with those hilarious blogging definitions.
I read your link and I sorta agree. I barely watch an hour of TV a week (Sorry, have to watch Battlestar Galactica). I still want all the new shiny stuff though.
I haven't watched the news in years. Can't take all the "sure this rubber ducky is cute, but will it kill your children?" bullshit.
But you can bet your ass there ain't gonna be no TV in the bedroom. Just in case.
Of course, if you want to really do damage to your sex life skip the protection. Sure, kids are cute, but not terribly conducive to the hanky panky.
I guess you could always buy the aforementioned rubber ducky. :)
Okay, did this guy factor in the couples that have television in the bedroom in order to watch porn? I will not go on a rant with this but, when was the last good Italian porn movie you saw? If you say "Italian Stalion" (yes it is with Sylvester Stallone) you should be killed. Do the same study in most other countries and I bet you find the results are VERY different.
